Namaya is a performance jAZ poet, songwriter, storyteller, and improvisation artist. He was the co-founder and lead for the Jazz Beat Blues Poetry Ensemble www.jazzbeatblues.com. He has toured in Europe, Ireland, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand and throughout the US. In 2009 appearances at festivals, and shows in Europe & the US are underway.
